The problems with plastics and toxic oils in our waters

The problems with plastics and toxic oils in our waters

Annually around 8 million metric tonnes of plastic enter our oceans, rivers and ports.

These plastics break down into micro-plastics that eventually can even be ingested by marine life. As well as plastics, oil spills can cause direct damage to whole ecosystems and can contribute to habitat destruction and biodiversity loss, overall causing significant impacts on fisheries and tourism. This is why we felt it was essential that we create the Envirocat, truly doing whatever we can to ensure the health of our waters.
